The festival is scheduled for May 2015 at Dospat lake and will include series of fishing competitions and other events (including trainings for kids related to fishing and environmental protection). The organizers are planning to produce film and develop a special website for the festival presenting the event and the results from all competitions. The long term objective of the project is to establish the festival as an annual event on national level.
Project application was prepared by PDM Services Ltd. and is the third project developed by the company that was approved for funding under Bulgarian Operative Program for the Development of Sector Fishery.
